It&#8217;s a toll road, which keeps the traffic levels down &#8211; and affords the owners to maintain it to a standard you will never see on any public road in the UK. Smooth pristine grippy tarmac and very little traffic. It was so good when I rode it that I turned round before the toll booth at the end and rode it all again &#8211; several times!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"843\" height=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/www.clanmagee.co.uk\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/image-843x1024.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-75\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.clanmagee.co.uk\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/image-843x1024.png 843w, https:\/\/www.clanmagee.co.uk\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/image-247x300.png 247w, https:\/\/www.clanmagee.co.uk\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/image-768x933.png 768w, https:\/\/www.clanmagee.co.uk\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/image.png 1034w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 843px) 100vw, 843px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>So why the picture of a cow? That particular young lady had just tried to help herself to a picnic that was being carefully laid out in the back of a camper van, by a particularly nervous young Austrian man. I think he was unaware that cows are generally placid curious creatures. A gentle push and a pat on the flanks soon had it redirected away from his lunch.
